Hey everyone,

So I am very proud of myself for getting boot camp to work and happily have been playing dod for an hour. The trouble is ... I can't control the volume when in xp with the keyboard keys, and so i have to minimize the game every time i want to control volume, and since it is windows, minimizing something means... yes it doesn't come up again (properly anyway).

In the boot camp setup guide it reads:

The Macintosh Drivers CD installs the drivers to support the following capabilities:
- graphics
- networking
- audio
- airport wireless
- bluetooth
- the eject key
- brightness control for built-in displays.

So there is audio, but it can't be controlled. I already know there is a problem in bootcamp where plugging something in the audio jack won't do anything... But the audio for me is stuck at one volume. Also, the brightness control using the built-in keyboard butttons also doesn't work for me. Anybody got any suggestions?

First off, I don't think all of the MBP's keyboard capabilities are supported by Windows, so I'm not surprised that you've found that brightness controlls don't work from there. However, I haven't heard anything about not having control of audio volume-maybe you should reinstall the audio driver. The thing with the audio jack not turning off the speakers is a known issue-though I think it may be a "feature" instead at this point.

How would I go about reinstalling the mac driver cd? Or a specific driver from the cd for that matter?
