I was checking out www.xlr8yourmac.com and came across this link that shows a work around to make Parallels work for Mac Pro owners. Good luck.

I applied the workaround on the Mac Pro, and I am running XP without a hitch. I think Parallels beats Boot Camp. I didn't like rebooting at all. I use XP for Accounting/ Business Software.

I am thrilled to cut my old PC tower loose!

If I were to nag about 1 thing...under Parallels, USB handling is scetchy, but is also still under developemnt.

I agree. Parallels is great. I'm truly looking forward to getting rid of my Windows machine. The only thing I really need it for is DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and NewsBin Pro.

Yes, there are, but, in my opinion, none that are quite as good as those. Also, I find that Windows handles PAR and RAR files much better than on a Mac.

MacPAR Deluxe and unRAR X both work fine for me, however, they seem to be much, much slower than WinRAR or QuickPAR on Windows.
