Anyone care to share their experience with Parallels?

How does the the speed compare with running PC apps natively in Bootcamp (particularily MS Office, but also Photoshop)?

I read somewhere in an older thread (circa May-June) that Parallels cannot use the Bootcamp install of XP, i.e., if you want/need to run Bootcamp and Parallels you must to install XP twice. Is this still the case with the latest version of Parallels? Also, how likely is OSX 10.5 to include Parallels functionality? I'd rather put up with having to dual boot for a few months than spend $70 for something that will be built into the next OS.

Parallels does not have this functionality.

The PC version of VMWare does not have this problem. You can run a VM from an actual partition or drive. Here's to hoping the Mac version will have this functionality too.

They offer a 15 days trial, so you can evaluate the speed for yourself.
