When I upgraded to the newest bootcamp beta, 1.1.1, it seemed to hose my wireless internet. I have an Intel Core Duo iMac, Windows XP SP2, no other updates of any kind on WIndows. When I used the previous version ofr bootcamp, Windows XP had the wireless icon in the system tray and it just seemed to automatically recognize my wireless network. When I upgraded, it no longer does this and shows no wireless connection at all. I tried to use the wireless networking wizard in the control panel but it seems to be a bit beyond my skill sinc I know ZIP about windows networking. Anyone have any solutions? Thanks

It sounds like the wireless card's driver got messed up by the BC 1.1.1 driver install process.

In Windows, go to Start, RIGHT click on "My Computer" and select "Properties." Now click on the Hardware tab, then click on the Device Manager button. Click on the "+" next to the "Network Adapters" entry (if it isn't already expanded) and see what it says about the wireless adapter. I'll bet there's an entry with an exclamation point (!) next to it-and that's the wireless card.

Here's a resource that shows how to manually update/repair drivers in Windows-it talks about the Bluetooth driver, but the process is the same for all drivers; just make sure you look for the WIRELESS NETWORK driver when you point to the replacement. You'll need to look for AirPort, NOT a universal host controller...
