I've noticed when running boot camp on a mac book pro that only up to 50% of the processor is ever used by a process. Anyone know whats up with this, can it be changes so near 100% can be used like on a normal PC?

Dunno, maybe the way the windows activity monitor does it is by making 100% mean all of both of the processors, as opposed to 100% being 1 processor in Mac activity monitor. And since windows isn't too good at multithreding that probably means that you're using all of 1 core and none of the other.
iBook G4 12.1" 1280MB 30GB(soon to be 100) 1.2Ghz. First Mac, had for 1.5 years, loving it.

You could BOTH read the forum a bit more and see that we had a thread on this in the past few weeks-with some ideas about why and what to do about it. Since you're both new, I've done the search for you and found this thread for your reading pleasure.

Seriously, search is your friend!
