When I navigate about my mac HD in windows all the files/folders that are hidden in OSX, starting with a . are visiable. Is there a way I can hide them all?

I've tried to search for .* to find them all and then set them to hidden by right-click/properties, but the hidden option is greyed out...

How are you running Windows? I'm assuming it's through Parallels, since Windows can't natively even see an HFS+ partition. In this case, sorry, but I think you'll have to live with the visibility of those hidden files and folders. I can't think of a way to configure Windows to NOT show files that lack Windows attributes (like "system" and "hidden"). Of course if there's a way to do it, someone will post soon with instructions. That's the beauty of these forums; I get to learn stuff too.

I'm using macdrive to access the mac partition, not Parallels.
