I installed Parallels and SUSE Linux on my Macbook, and apart with some initial problems getting it to use my wireless connection, things are working. I'm using the Gnome desktop, and the highest resolution shown is 800x600, even though I've told Parallels and SUSE(via YaST) that the monitor is 1380x800. Any ideas on how I can get it to use the entire screen in fullscreen mode? I'm wondering if this is a limitation of Gnome. Thanks.

If the mods could move this to Alternative Operating Systems, I'd appreciate it.

This thread on the Parallels support forum, http://forums.parallels.com/thread5119.html, has a possible fix which I haven't tried. SUSE Linux has built-in support for a Powerbook screen at 1024x768 which is good enough for now.

I answered this problem for another member having problems with Ubuntu. I'm not sure, but I'm betting the solution is similar (I have absolutely no experience with SUSE, sorry). Hope it helps!
