I have bootcamp instaled on my MBP with xp_sp2. Is there any way to uninstall osx for good and leave xp the only operating system?

I share your concerns: I'm looking for a way to install Windows Mobile on my iPod.

As far as I know, there's nothing stopping you from booting into Windows XP and just deleting the OS X partition.

Other than the moral problem with that!

Aside from the obvious ethical issues involved, you would have to reinstall Windows. During the installation process, just delete all the partitions, then re-partition it as you'd like. The end result will be a Mac without Mac OS X.
But be prepared to be run out of town.

Does Apple provide a windows version of the driver disk utility that bootcamp burns for you? How would you get updated drivers? I was under the impression that you have to install boot camp in os x than have boot camp burn you the updated driver disk, boot back to windows and install the new drivers.

Did the doctor drop you on your head? I have Vista RTM installed in addition to OSX but I prefer OS X.

You'd get Boot Camp, burn the disc, Boot to the Windows install disc, delete all partitions, add an MBR-type partitio, format to NTFS, then install winows. Then, when you boot, you would install the drivers.

The only disadvantage to this method would be that you could never update the drivers without the help of a second Mac. Windows has no way of reading a .DMG file, which is the only way that Apple distributes the driver CDs. This could change once Leopard rolls around, but I wouldn't count on it.

Sorry, but this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If you ONLY want to run Windows - buy a freakin' Dell. Running a Mac as a Windows only machine is beyond idiotic.
