I understand that there is a sticky on slipstreaming, but it does not address my situation. I currently only have a Windows XP SP1 disk and would like to make a slipstream SP2 CD. My predicament, however, is that I have no access to a Windows machine, and I do not have access to virtual PC software like Parallels of any kind. Is there any way that I go about doing this?
Thanks.

Parallels does have a free demo available for download... that will work for you if you have the possibility of downloading it.

Also, you can download the Boot Camp drivers, install Windows XP SP1 from your disc (it will encounter errors but it will install), then download the SP2 update from within Mac OS X, and follow instructions such as these to create the slipstreamed disc.

Thanks for your help guys. I got the trial of Parallels, but it unfortunately does not allow the burning of CDs; it recognizes my hardware, but it seems to have mounted it as read-only. I'm just going to have to wait until Thanksgiving and do it over at my relatives' house, because I really don't want to shell out $80 for Parallels to do this. Thanks again.
Also, I tried your suggestion Mithras, but when attempting to install SP1 to my MacBook, it failed to recognize my keyboard, so I could not get past the introductory screen.

No, use something like the Windows app called Autostreamer. That will make a .iso file which you can copy to the Mac OS side of things and burn that.

The biggest problem with trying to install XP-SP1 under Boot Camp is that the whole Windows driver model was changed with SP2, so Boot Camp's drivers basically don't work (or not many and not well) with SP1. What Mithras says IS doable, but it's a royal pain in the butt. It's much better to find a friend with a PC and a little time on his hands-SP2 includes a slipstreaming function built-in, so it's no real trick to manage the slipstreaming.
