Windows Key Shortcuts in bootcamp xp

I have windows xp installed via bootcamp on my macbookpro, and the shortcut to open My Computer (Windows Key + E) does not work. all the other windows key shortcuts seem to work like show desktop, log out, utilities, etc...

any ideas of what the problem could be?
