Windows XP with previous versions of bootcamp runs nicely on this Intel based 20 inch iMac machine. With Boot Camp 1.1.2, Logitech Bluetooth mouse has stopped functioning, USB keyboard and mouse do not respond after 'waking up' from sleep mode. 'upgrade' to 1.1.2 hosed external 300 GIG Firewire hard drive eating away at partition info and corrupting all data forcing reformat.
Wth Microsoft, beta software releases come with the opportunity to join forums and send experiences directly to Microsoft, get feedback. Does Apple provide this to their public beta testers? I have not found anything on their website so far.

I still haven't updated to 1.1.2, and it seems that it was a good thing to hold off. If anyone here has *not* had problems with 1.1.2, please post.

No v1.1.2 problems on a Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro (original Core Duo).

My mighty mouse and wireless keyboard are very tempermental. It may be "sleep" that has killed them. Didn't think of that. I can sometimes reactivate the bluetooth feature in windows and find them, sometimes just turning them off/on works and sometimes it doesn't work at all.
Most likely will set up my broken screen laptop next to the imac with my old pc screen for use of windows stuff.

The core of the OS MUST be on an internal drive. There is NO WAY currently to reliably (and simply for the non-engineers among us) boot Windows from a USB or Firewire connected drive.

No problems with 1.1.2 on both a Core 2 Duo 17 iMac and Core Duo 17" MBP. Good upgrade IMO.
