Just got bootcamp up and running and was wondering if you could just restart and hold down option to switch into windows mode and vice versa (is it safe?) or should you play it safe and do a full shut down each time?

Phew I was worried there. What about going to sleep on the windows end, does that work or is your computer either just on or off?

Sleep works too (a little buggy still though, thanks to immature drivers), but don't hibernate.

So on my MacBook, can I safely just shut the screen and continue later? I can't believe I only need Windows for one program!!

Well depending on what the program is, you may want to look at Parallels instead.
