Not the question you're all ready for me to ask. I KNOW that I have to activate XP and that it'll be cool if I do so with the same copy I use for Boot Camp (if and when).

My question has to do with the fact that I have had zero time to mess with XP under Parallels and now I'm about to run out my trial key AND I have to activate XP. If I uninstall Parallels, are there any crumbs left by the Windows version I installed with it? Should I just be able to install the latest version of Parallels (which I ain't got yet) and then this same copy of XP and then activate it at my (within 30 days) leisure?

With school winding down (last final TOMORROW!) I'll have time to mess with this and I'd like to know what to plan for.

Thanks guys!

If you trash the virtual hard disk (a file) and create a new one, all traces of the Windows install are gone from Windows point of view.

These are days that I'm glad I have access to legal Volume License Program versions of Windows through work...

Thanks mduell, that's what I thought.

legacyb4, I don't have access to that kind of version; this copy is from my Campus Bookstore, and while the school has a campus-level agreement, the disc still requires activation. Bummer.
