will running windows n my intel mac cause me to get viruses even when i dont use it?

i use it maybee once a week for one application, and i dont use the internet, but its hooked up

not when you're not using it, because it'll be inactive/shut down

But you should definitely get decent antivirus for the times you do have it active, since it is hooked up to the internet. Also be sure to run windows update to grab all the patches to help protect against fixed vulnerabilities.
