Boot Camp WinXP install problem - missing partition

Over the holidays, I finally got the chance to upgrade my MBP hard drive so I would have room to install Boot Camp. Boot Camp Assistant seemed to work fine, letting me burn the drivers CD, create a new 20 GB partition for Windows, and launch the Windows XP install disk. When the XP installer gets to the screen where you have to choose the partition to install to, the *only* option that appears is my 130 GB Mac OS X partition (listed as the C drive). Obviously, I don't want to install there.

I tried removing the Windows partition with the Boot Camp Assistant and recreating it, but that doesn't help.

Has anyone run into this? Any ideas how I can get the Windows installer to see the new partition?

Update: It appears that my problem was with the XP install disk. I was using the corporate install disk at work, and I believe it must have been an SP1 disk. When a helpful IT guy gave me a slipstreamed SP2 disk, all the partitions showed up and XP installed correctly.

Kind of scary though that following the directions and installing XP with an SP1 disk would have blown away my OS X partition.
