Hey All,

I have a Mac Pro (the one in my sig,) and I installed windows on it to play a couple of games (mainly supreme commander, steam.)

Whenever it's booting up, if I use a key that most Windows keyboards don't have (such as, for instance, the eject key) Windows will bluescreen. I can reproduce this pretty reliably. it gives me the "PAGE_IN_NON_PAGE_AREA" (or something similar) as the error.

OS X, on the other hand, has been rock solid, except once when it KPed during the install of the CS2.

Any suggestions?

Are you using the latest version of the Boot Camp drivers? It sounds like a driver issue. Or you could reinstall Windows on top of the current installation. This is called a "repair installation" and it restores any Windows OS files that may be changed or corrupted. You WILL need to reinstall the drivers afterward, but that's a minor issue.

I've reinstalled Windows twice, and I do have the latest boot camp drivers.

I'm personally not a big fan of "repair installation." After using it on and off for a good 5 years, I don't trust it.
