Hi,
I have a MacBook with bootcamp and windblows xp installed. Im trying to run a game in xp and get the following error message "The game may not be consist ant because AGP is deactivated. Please activate the AGP for consistency."

Any ideas on how to fix this? ive searched the forums and googled for an answer but no luck. Its a xp only game so I cannot run it in osx Ive tried to run the game with the error message but its unplayable.

Thanks for any help,
Ryan

Sounds like an old game that assumes you have a PCI graphics card if AGP isn't present. What game?

Thanks for the reply,

The game is Lineage 2.

I noticed there is a error with my hardware driver. If i go to the device ma manger in XP I have a "?" for a PCI device. I assume it the GPU, but am unsure. XP gives the location of the hardware as "device 7" and it recommends I reinstall the driver. I have tried to reinstall the drivers that I burned from bootcamp with no success. Maybe i'm doing it wrong?

any recommendations?

thanks again,
Ryan

Heres a stupid question. Have you tried downloading the Windows version of your AGP driver and reinstalling it?

It wouldn't have anything to do with OpenGL if you mean OpenGL on the OS X side. It's a Windows driver issue, something that presumably should have been provided for by Boot Camp. If you don't get any answers here, I'd next search Apple's discussion board (unless they don't allow any Windows topics there).
