Ok I registered here just b/c of this problem and i am so maaaad right now

This is the first time i have even been on my pc since i got my macbook in early Dec (god I love it to death!!!). Anyways I wanted to install BootCamp just to open some of the .exe programs and do some of the things that you cannot do on a Mac.

I DL'ed BootCamp and when it told me to put in the Windows CD full installation I rushed it, found what I thought was a full installation disk but was only an upgrade disk.

It goes for about 5 minutes with that dumb blue screen of installation and after a couple enters and F8's and what-not it gets to a screen that says "You need the full version of XP or this or that BLAH BLAH BLAHH!!!".

I have the full version sitting next to me right here and I cannot eject the upgrade XP disk inside the macbook at all it is jammed in there the eject button does not work ctrl-j does not work (supposively open CD Drive command for Windows) and the options on the screen are press enter once you have inserted the correct disk or press F3 to quit. If I press enter it starts to load and then says "BLAH BLAH this is still the wrong disk blah blah....".

So I press F3 to restart the damn thing and it loads straight back to the Windows XP setup and I go through the whole process again and it takes like 10 minutes each time. Eventually I am back at the F3 to quit Enter once you have inserted the correct disk screen again. I restart thinking maybe it will load to the mac again... Nope back to the beginning of Windows startup and this goes over and over again.

I'm about to kill Bill Gates or my precious MacBook and I realize why I quit on Microsoft in the first place and why I was dumb enough to even try and load it on to the stupid mac. I hate windows and my computer is unusable. Please help me before I do somthing I will regret!!!

Hold off the enthusiasm until you get your Windows installation working. It SHOULD be very simple and easy (installing XP on my MacBook Pro was both simpler and quicker than ANY OTHER XP installation I've ever done, and that's saying something). Come back and tell us how things go for you.
