Ok, so i'm new here, and i'm very UN-technilogically savvy.

when i got my macbook this summer i decided to get the whole "bootcamp" option so that i could play games on windows if i so chose. but now almost 6 months later, i realize that i want nothing to do with it, i've not used it once, and i have a feeling its just taking up space for nothing.

is there a way that i can safely remove this feature from my computer or should i get it proffesionally done.

any help would be great, thank you.

Wonderful that you like the Mac well enough not to want to use Windows anymore! I'd run the Bootcamp utility again - Apple's documentation says that it will allow you to remove the Windows partition.

The Boot Camp utility installs in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. Run it. It gives you three options: burn a driver disc, start the Windows installer, and restore your hard disk to a single partition. FYI, a partition is simply a logical section of the storage available in your hard disk. Anyway, you want the third option-to restore the disk to a single partition. Follow the prompts and instructions and you should do fine.
