I own a copy of XP Pro from VPC 7 which is in use on my Powerbook. When I upgrade to a MBP I will no longer be using the PB, so VPC will be uninstalled. I would like to transfer that license to the MBP for use with Boot Camp and Parallels. I've read the other threads about getting XP reactivated on new hardware, which sounds fine, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried to do it with VPC copies of XP in particular. Just want to make sure they're not limited somehow because they came with VPC. I'm not trying to cheat MS, just that I already own two legit copies of XP Pro, and don't feel I should need to buy a third when I only own two computers.
