Has anybody got an external monitor via the mini DVI - DVI convertor using the external monitor as the only one?

Yes, one of the options I have for graphics output (right-click on the desktop) is "digital display only". It works fine for me when I use it. Most of the time I use the extended desktop.
I do not like those green links and spam.
