On my windows box, I have two sets of dual channel 512 mb sticks (2gb total). I know one of the ram sticks has a bad sector on it (games crash, i get errors every once and awhile, random system restarts)

I'm spoiled by Apple's hardware test....whats the best way to test to be absolutely sure its a bad ram sitck, and whats the easiest way to find out which one it is?

Memtest is one of the bestest out there. There are others, most of them free, but you have to go looking. Memtest86 (which mduell linked for you) will do what you want and you don't have to search for it.
