Well this is my second time installing Windows XP on my MacBook Pro. The last time I installed it, it worked fine for about 4-5 months. Then one day the keyboard stopped working on Windows.

So I gave up on that and decided to reinstall XP. So I ran BootCamp again. I left my hard drive partitioned, and ran the installer. I got to the part when you could either click "F3 to quit", "Enter to start the installer", or "R to Repair". At first I tried to do R for Repair. That failed. Then I tried enter, and nothing happened. Basically my keyboard wasn't working. Then I decided to do everything from scratch. I re-partitioned my hard drive. Then I went to install it again, same thing happened. Then I tried again with a USB Windows style kyboard plugged in, same thing again. I tried this a few times. Once again Apple's and Microsoft's phone service couldn't help me.

I have the exact same problem. I tried using Bootcamp today for the first time ever. Everything went smoothly until it asked me to press the Enter key to continue the installation. I pressed and pressed, and nothing happened. I tried unplugging all peripherals, and tried using different install discs. Nothing works...and I cannot install Windows XP for gaming.
Lame.

Not lame, just odd. Once in a while it happens. Try using the Boot Camp utility to restore the drive to a single partition, restart the machine, and set up the Boot Camp partition again. Most of the time it's a minor glitch that does this (Windows' glitch, not Apple's), and starting fresh takes care of it just fine.

I ran into this issue last night installing XP on my wife's new MacBook. I happened to have an external keyboard handy so I just plugged that in and restarted the XP install and that allowed me to hit 'enter.' Annoying, definitely, but much easier than starting over again with BootCamp if you're pressed for time.
