I've mapped a network drive to my Parrelled version of Windows XP.
\\our-MAC_OSX_server.int\Sharepoint
And selected the 'connect' with different login/password so as to use our accounts assigned by the Mac OSX server as well as selected "reconnect at login"
I enter the password and login for the sharepoint and it mounts fine and I can use it. However, once I reboot, it fails to 'reconnect' the drives and I have to manually go to "my Computer", double-click the mapped drive, at which point it asks me for the password again!! (even though I've set it up to 'store' the password and 'reconnect' at login). After entering the password, it slooowwwwlllyyy reconnects to the sharepoint.
What's going on here? Any thoughts as to why it's not reconnecting at login? My only thought is that it might be 'timing' out (it takes about 20 to 40 seconds to connect to the sharepoint.)
Why would it not be storing the password? (Every time I reconnect, I have to enter the password again.)
I've got physical installs of Windows on PC machines that also auto-mount to the network sharepoints and they work without problem.
