After loading boot Camp and Windows Vista on an Intel duo iMAC, will I be able to share documents between the 2 operating systems? If I have MS Word on both OS's can I access from both sides. ex, My Documents via OSX

That depends. If you formatted your Boot Camp/XP partition with FAT32, yes you will. If you used NTFS, you will be able to read the XP partition's files with OS X, but not write to that partition, and XP will NOT even see your OS X partition at all.

An external drive formatted with FAT32 is probably the simplest way to go to share between the two OSs.

The most notable drawbacks of FAT32 are a smaller maximum file size (just under 4GB) and it's unjournaled, so goofups can eventually bring down your XP installation; NTFS is much more robust.

Why not use Parallels and run XP in a VM right inside OS X? With Coherence, you can share files and folders seamlessly. I had all kinds of problems with BC until I realized that Parallels gave me all I needed to run my few truly essential Windows Apps. However, if you're into games or use other graphic intensive programs, you will probably do best with BC.
