Hi, I've just installed Windows XP Home SP2 on my MacBook Pro but it seems that my OS X that is installed in a other partition is kind of laggy.

I also have another problem, when I boot my computer, without choosing wich OS it always boots up with Windows. What do I need to do to boot up by default with OS X?

Need help please, Thanks in advance!

There's really no way for the XP installation to impact the OS X installation; your computer is either booted into OS X OR XP, and they don't interact at all. Your OS X installation will see the XP partition, and depending on the format you use for that partition you can read and maybe write to it, but XP itself just can't touch what OS X does.

In the XP Control Panel there's an applet called Startup Disk. That will tell your computer which OS you want to boot from.
