How do I get parallels to recognize an external device? I plug in the external device such as a memory card reader or cell phone but I can't find the device? Where is it located? Thanks.

Which build of Parallels are you using? Recent builds are reputed to handle USB much better than older ones.

That is exactly what I'm trying to do. I can't download the maps onto my N95.

It's in About Parallels Desktop. They release new builds all the time, and often address real problems users encounter pretty quickly.
