I just installed Windows XP on my Macbook today. It went surprisingly well and was up running in no time. There are some things that I still have some questions about.

1. I tried running it in clamshell mode, but when I checked to see if the Macbook's display is off, I found that it is still on. The brightness was set very low however. Is it possible to run Windows in closed mode or has Apple not enabled this yet?

2. I installed an old game I had lying around and it runs great. However, when fully maximized, the mouse cursor constantly blinks. Is there a way to fix this?

Other than that, I'm pretty impressed with how it's running and the easiness of setting it up.

Thanks!

Windows XP does not support "sleep" mode the way a Mac running OS X does. You may have to configure the "power saving" settings to explicitly enter "standby" or "hibernate" mode when closing the lid.

The cursor blinking issue could be a number of things. Does it blink steadily, or is the behavior more a flicker? Two slightly different behaviors which are caused by two very different things.
