I have an Intel Core 2 Duo 2ghz with a 1gb HD. When I attempted to install Vista I received the following problems:

"C"
HD has 2.08 FB of free space, I need 15 GB of free hard disk space to install Vista.

"RAM"
Computer has 512 MB of ram, need 1 GB of RAM.

Vista won't install on parallels, what steps do I need to take in order to get Vista installed. Thanks.

Vista does install on Parallels and Boot Camp. I'm guessing you have to free up hard disk space and add more RAM, just like it says.

Well if you have 2.0 GB (I think you meant GB and not FB) of space and Vista requires a minimum of 15GB then you need to free up space in order to install it. If it were me and I was installing vista on a Macbook, I'd go the bootcamp route. Vista's performance is going to suffer under parallels, plus you'll not get the aero glass theme that everyone lusts for. Basically all of the bloat but no eye candy.

being I only have 2gb and I need 15gb, wouldn't this mean I would need to add more memory rather than freeing up memory?

Gigabytes of hard disk space need to be freed up, not gigabytes of RAM added to your system. It's saying you need 15 GB of hard disk space free and you need at least 1 GB of RAM.

It has nothing to do with the VM unless you are installing Vista over another install. You need to clear out other stuff on your hard drive so you have 15 GB free. If this is Boot Camp, you need to make your Boot Camp partition bigger. If this is Parallels, you need to use either a fixed or auto-expanding drive image that's at least 15 GB. If you have absolutely no idea what I am talking about, I'd suggest you find someone local who can help you install this.
