When I started up Parallels today, got msg that update was available. I installed it. Now I've got a Parallels Desktop mounted volume on my OS X desktop, and when I try to eject it, an error message pops up saying it is in use, I must quit applications first. I've quit Parallels, but the error message persists and won't let me eject the volume. What can I do? Thanks

Have you tried shutting down your Mac? It's most likely something "stuck" in OS X, telling it that your mounted .dmg is still in use.
