Hopefully I can come up with a compendium of "DON'T DO THIS" things for Boot Camp, but this is one that APPLE should tell everyone in italic, underlined bold print! Boot Camp has a really hard time if ANYTHING but a keyboard and mouse are plugged into the Mac (and don't even think about plugging anything else into the keyboard-even the mouse!). Sorry you had problems, but I'm glad you got it figured out.

yup yup, thank goodness i did not get stuck there too long.
i did though get other errors where as windows said that it was missing files.
of course that was crazy because it installed previously without a hitch.
it's here nor there since i got it installed and now all i have to do is activate...
that will also take a bit of time though since i have to do it twice because of paralells.

Dirty discs can cause "missing file' errors. And sometimes just plain "not so great" discs (even PRESSED discs) can give you problems. It's a pain sometimes, but it's something you can get over.
