Well... the feature war is on and VMware seems to have just leapfrogged Parallels with Unity. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIApJMzGzDQ

They've managed to completely integrate each individual MS Windows application window such that they have shadows (even irregularly shaped windows) and they show up in Expose. They even minimize to the dock. Very cool... can't wait to see what Parallels has up their sleeve. Let the feature war commence!

Wow, that is incredibly slick. It's like magic. They've managed to completely hide the emulator.

Just to be the pedant, Parallels (and VMWare) aren't emulators...

Yeah, its a real nice implementation, however, it still needs work.
The VMWare dock icon needs to contain the Windows START menu to make it easy to launch programs. The Window that lists all programs is a less-than-ideal solution. Also, VMware still does not give me an option to CRTL-Click to emulate a right-mouse button...what's with that? Also, why are those icons at the top of the window so big? I can't find anyway to move them to the side, make them smaller, or make them go away.
