Hi, I pre-ordered the upgrade. At the time they sent me a authorization for 3.0 to be followed later by the download.

Didn't get the download by e-mail (or link to), so I went to Parallels site and downloaded the 3.0 image (Parallels Desktop 4128 Mac en.dmg) assuming that it's the same thing and that I'd be able to use my newly purchased authorization key once upgraded.

However, when I try to mount the image I consistenly get an 'invalid checksum' error. I've downloaded the image from Parallels several times and always get the same error. (I'm upgrading Parallels on a Core 2 Duo iMac)

The MD5 Hash of the disk image itself is:92de068c4b0a6c736abc1b9dd7461616

Is anybody else having this problem.

I contacted Parallels, but they've not responded after several e-mails.

Where are you downloading the update from and how are you downloading it? I've had no problem downloading it from Parallels with Safari or Firefox.

I'm downloading it directly from Parallels at this link:

Download Parallels Desktop for Mac

I've downloaded it a couple time and the DMG always fails to mount. (I'm not having problems mounting other images.)

Still no response from Parallels? It sounds like you're getting some sort of corruption during the download. That is pretty weird, unless I'm misunderstanding you, because it looks like you're verifying the MD5 hash of the download. If the hash is right it's VERY hard to believe that the download became corrupted during the download process.
