I have just installed boot camp on my Intel iMac G5. I made a windows 32GB FAT partition. Then I inserted the XP Home SP2 OEM Evesham disk which came with a PC of mine and clicked install. Computer rebooted and went to blue setup screen - but then on the section where you select partition to install windows in it only had one choice: C, which was over 100GB in size. This was different from what the boot camp printout had said and when i clicked on it I was advised that it had to be NTFS and this spooked me because I was concerned the computer hadn't partitioned properly and it was selecting my OSX partition. So, there being no other option, I quit. Computer rebooted and is now stuck on a white screen.
I've rebooted holding down eject key and replaced windows XP install disk with OSX install disk. I've also triple chimed the PRAM with option command 'r' 'p'. I've tried booting holding down 'c' and option-command-shift-delete and just option etc. None of them allow me to get beyond a blank white screen.
Someone else had this problem elsewhere: http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiver...hp/t28383.html and I sincerely hope there's an easier fix as the computer itself worked superbly and i refuse to believe any hardware is 'broken'.

Please, please help!

That Windows XP disc is probably customized for the hardware in your Evesham computer. Try rebooting from your OS X disc and using Disk Utility (it's under Tools) to repair your boot disk.

Technically, and often functionally, you need a separate XP disc for your Mac and Boot Camp. The Microsoft license is for only one computer, and it does not say "one at a time".
