I'm interested in giving Boot Camp a try on my Macbook, mainly because I'm wanting to run Microsoft Office 2007 for University, as MS Office 2004 for Mac is really slow and outdated.

- After partitioning a portion of my internal hard drive and installing Windows XP, can I completely erase the Windows XP partition and restore the disk space to the original size with only one Mac OSX partition?

- Would I get better battery life running Windows XP or Mac OSX?

- There are different types of Windows XP's out there, like the "Lite" versions and stripped down versions, are these better and less resource hungry or should I just stick with the normal Windows XP Professional?

- For those running Windows XP on there Macbooks do you have any issues with heat, fan noise etc?

Thanks

I think if you posted in the right forum you might get more answers, Boot Camp isn't a application...

Anyway, I'm not sure what you mean by "Lite", but I know OEM versions don't come with any other software, just the system.
Signature depreciated.

Yes, you can return the partition scheme to what it was before.

Power management is better under OS X, which is reflected in battery life.

This is the wrong forum. All your questions have probably been answered a dozen times over in the right forum.
