Hi,

I'm new to OSX but am trying to partition the drive to allow a triple boot system. I've been following this guide but run into problems using the diskutil in the terminal screen to create the partitions for the OSs. Basically when I try to create the partitions using

sudo diskutil resizeVolume disk0s2 10G "Linux" "Linux" 10G "MS-DOS FAT32" "Windows" 10G

I'm getting a "Resizing encountered error No space left on device (28) on disk" message even though there's enough room on the drive.

Any ideas?

This sometimes happens when, though there's plenty of room, the disk is too fragmented for diskutil to be able to do its thing.

You might consider moving some large files to an external drive for a while-that could free up enough contiguous space for diskutil to work with.
