Hi there. Im a new user of Mac (iMac 2006/2007 Version) and the very first thing I've done is to do something extremely stupid. Today I downloaded BootCamp Beta and installed it. After that, I introduced my Chinese Windows XP CD Installer although my Mac was bought in Spain (I don't know if these info is necessary). I just wanted to see what the "inside" of the Windows CD was like (thanks to my stupidity I didn't read the manual of BootCamp either and created a partition without knowing anything), but afterwards I took out the CD and kept on using the Skype program for about 3 hours. Now, about 2 hours later, I switched on the iMac but instead of launching MAC OSX, the screen turns from grey to black and the following words appear:
"No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"
I was quite surprised it asked me that so I inserted again the Chinese Windows CD Installer. I did a simple installation but after reading other threads, I realised that I didn't have any partition created in my hard disk after all. After installing it, it restarts and again asks me to install Windows.
I've read some other threads with the same problem but none of the solutions works for me, neither the "alt" key nor the "C+Mac OSX CD" because I don't have any CD of Apple.
What can I do? Have all my files in MAC OSX disappeared? Is there any solution to my problem? I tried several times pressing "ALT" but it stays in a grey screen and my mouse just can move horizontally.
Please, help me!
