The thing is that all behaving too slow to be at least acceptable… so I kindly ask to those with a vast PC knowledge which of the tools listed below one would keep installed and running while the remaining ones would be uninstalled… system is XP Pro with Service Pack 2

- AVAST antivirus
- AVG antivirus
- CCleaner
- Spyware Doctor
- Zone Alarm

I have no idea which ones are the less resources eaters but I guess all them with the exception of CCleaner are running on background constantly…

Yeah kill 'em all, theres no place for antivirus software on a mac!!!

Sorry, this is under a 'true' PC box… I guess I better had to clarified that, even so… if this where under Boot Camp, Fusion, Parallels… it would be still fair to use some of them if the windows side of the Mac was able to connect to the internet…

Anyway, PCWorls seems to like AVAST and Zone Alarm the most…

NOD32 was the virus scanner i used before MacSwitching. Seemed to do the job better than most others id had before!!!!
