ANyone Using both Parallels and Boot Camp?

So im new to all this but Im just wondering if I would run into any problems running both boot camp and parallels on my system. I need to use visual studio to do some c++ programming for school and would rather use parallels for that and then use bootcamp for a few games. Is there anything wrong with doing this?
