I installed XP via bootcamp recently on my new 2.4ghz 24" Imac. Everything is working fine except the wireless internet. It connects to my network I enter the key and it seems to be connected. However it says "Limited or no connectivity". ANy idea?

what encryption are you using (if any)? Is your wifi station an Apple or other-made product?

I'm using WEP...I just downloaded and installed the Windows XP Wireless Hot fix but still the same thing is happening. Im using a 2wire router/modem.

try putting a $ sign in front of the password.

...and start planning to upgrade everything to using WPA-WEP is a joke, poo on a stick, useless, worthless, bad and otherwise not useful. Seriously, it's worse than no security at all. And WPA includes the key/password entry algorithm as part of the standard, so you don't have to worry about entering things differently on one machine.

I feel like such an idiot......but it was a bad WEP key thatw as giving me grief......fixed now tho
