Hi;
New to the iMac bought mine about 2 weeks ago and start to play with it, the config that I have is as follow
1) iMac 20"
2) 2 Gig of mem
3) 320gi of hardrive
4) My Book 1 tetra unit ( this was installed as my file backup for th ehome)
So played with it and decided to use it as my day to day machine, I have a Dell 9200 that I use too run my work application mainly Word Excell and mail and ACT database
I installed parallel with Windows Vista Premium, when ok Vista once in a while is telling me tht it is unable to activate the setup (hum) I took the one from the Dell.
Loaded ACT,MS Office and started to think hold on here I have a 1 tetra drive may as well split it in half Apple / Vista and use it for file sharing if I have to.
SO used the Disk utility repartitioned the drive as recommended in the utility, reload the file and reboot Apple, voila I see both drive I am able to move file between each other so great.
Now here the catch, when I bring on parallel and start my application all is ok, but I tried to check within Windows my Vista drive and could not find it,, if in go to Apple side it is there.
Does anyone has a clue what i did wrong or I did not do, installation of parallel I took all of the default settings.
Their is a bit of lag when you go fromm Vista to Apple this is probably due to the memory setting per default.
Anyway would be nice to fix this up because I am a game palyer not hardcore but I dont see myself loading Tiger Woods 2008 on the 32g Vista partition that was created a the beginning.
So let me know
PS
I do luvvvvvvvvvv my iMac it is so quiet compare to the other one and all of the features that is built in.
Tks Steve and finally saw the light
