I am trying to find best possible, or any way to backup or create an image of my Windows partition on my MacBoook Pro.
Most common Windows backup software wouldnt recognise the drive..

Any suggestions?

Windows' own backup should do just fine-it's in System Tools. Unless you mean you're trying to back up the Windows partition to the OS X partition. In that case, you're experiencing something that's totally normal: Windows CANNOT see an HFS+ partition at all, at least not without some added software or other. I'd use the DVD drive in your MBP, or (a better idea) an external drive. Backing up one partition to another on the same drive isn't what you'd call "effective." Typically a drive problem affects the whole drive, which means both your partition and the backup would be fried. External media is the way to go for a backup.

Thank you for your suggestion. No, I am not trying to backup Windows to the Mac partition! I want to create an image or a clone, or a full backup of my Windows partition on to external drive, so if something goes wrong I would be able to restore it to previous state.
I dont think the backup which is part of Windows itself would do this.

Windows' backup will do a lot. It'll use a networked drive (I've done that rather recently), and it should do external drives as well. Give it a shot. You can also look into imaging apps, like DriveImage and Ghost, but they cost money and if you have Windows, you have the built in backup software too.

I havent try the Windows own backup, but Driveimage XML seams up to task!
Its doing it! After backup is complete I will test the restore function.

Thank you for your help!
