Hi there everyone,

Is it just me or is there not any kind of advanced speaker mixer functionaility for the Macbook Pro with Bootcamp 1.4 yet in Vista?

Well there is the basic sound mixer in the task bar that controls the overall sound levels for each program. This works fine for me.
ie:

But when I go to the advanced sound configuration in the control panel and click on speaker speaker properties, I can't adjust my line in levels, nor my microphone levels nor any other sub levels of my sound card. So my line in is essentially muted, my built in mic is muted, and if I had a mic going into the line in, it would be muted as well.
This is what my speaker levels looks like now:

Not only that but my built-in mic doesn't show up in my recording devices. Is this normal?

This is what the Speaker properties dialog should look like, I should be able to control the sound output levels of my line in, mic and other things:

I am on a 17" Macbook Pro 2.33GHz, 2GB Ram, Vista Business... Bootcamp 1.4, all firmware updated.

Any ideas? Anyone? Is everyone in the same boat? or is it just me?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Try the drivers from Intel instead of Apple.

Intel? Which drivers from Intel?
I tried the RealTek drivers and they don't really seem to make a difference either.
I am really curious as to whether any other Macbook Pro user is having this problem, if it's just me.
