After having installed Leopard, none of my music software or hardware works. This is because MOTU (Mark of the Unicorn) haven't got round to releasing drivers and updates. How stupid of me for not checking! So what can I do? I don't fancy uninstalling Leopard. Can I use Boot camp to put Tiger back on or even put Tiger on a separate hard disk and boot up from there? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think anyone has ever suggested using Boot Camp to dual boot different versions of OS X, at least not in this forum. So my answer is "I don't know." If you really need that stuff to work, go for it and see. But back up your Leopard install anyway.
Now, what if it doesn't work? Don't uninstall Leopard, just back it up to an external drive (you can make a bootable clone of your drive using Drive Utility), then if you're really sure you NEED this software and hardware NOW, wipe and reinstall Tiger. That's a lot of work for just music listening. Or is your stuff music creation rather than listening? That's different, and if it's "what you do" then it does sound like the process is worthwhile.

If you have another drive, just install Tiger on it. If you don't, use Disk Utility to create a new partition on your existing drive if you have the space for it. Then install Tiger on it. Disk Utility in Leopard has the ability to do live partitioning like Boot Camp Utility does.

Thanks, Art. I don't have Leopard yet, so I didn't know that bit of detail about its Disk Utility. Pretty cool, too.

I have less than 1g left on my hard drive after installing Leopard, how can I revert back to Tiger without reinstalling all applications?
Should I put all apps on my external hard drive & reinstall tiger that way?
