It sounds like there's something weird about your ISO image-it doesn't sound like it is an actual bootable disc. Can you boot from it on any other computer? Try a friend's just to see-you don't need to go any farther than just seeing if it boots at all.

yep -- i can boot just fine from my PC here @ work, and even from Parallels will boot from it...its bootable as far as i can tell (magicISO even tells me).

i want a tiny xp install so i can play games via bootcamp (call of duty 4 is calling my name)....what's weird is that my FULL Install of XP will work fine...but the disks are named two different things....so i wonder if bootcamp looks at the title of the disk?

...im lost

The title of the disc should make no difference-my slipstreamed disc has a name I made up, and it works fine. But maybe the boot format on the disc is different from what the system is expecting. I'd have to look at a tiny XP ISO image to see what it does about booting...

I think it has something to do with Leopard.

My son got tired of the full Windows XP taking up so much room in bootcamp and used TinyXP.
He got the same error message when he tried to install it on his iMac with Leopard installed.

It worked fine on his old iMac with Panther installed.
