Basically I wanted to try bootcamp for XP. I'm now very much off the idea. I did everything right up until i chose not to format the new XP partition. It now comes up with the disk error message. This leaves me in a predicament as I cannot go further in windows and cannot choose to boot the leopard OS. Is there any key i can press while the laptop is starting up that will let me boot into leopard.

Excuse me if this is noob question except I think I may have just knackered my new shiny laptop!

Sorry everyone. I did the standard noob thing of not searching first. Problem is fixed now thanks to a topic further down. What can I say... I panicked. Sorry once again.

Are you sure you have an XP SP2 disk? Restart and hold the option key to select the Mac OS at boot.

"Panic" and "installing Windows" seem to go together. But it's no biggie-you got it fixed.
