bootcamp partitioning problem

When trying to partition anywhere between 5-32 GB on my 2nd HD the bootcamp assistant sticks at
"Status: Partitioning disk..."
And the progress bar never changes from the barber pole.

Anyone have a similar problem installing bootcamp?

It's a week old 2x2.66, 8GB, 250GB HD1, 500GB HD2, 10.5.1
