I searched around and couldn't find the specific issue I am having. I removed the windows partition on my new Macbookpro and whenever I restart it still loads up the windows screen looking for something to boot, but says it can't find anything (of course). The only way I can restart to Leopard is to hold down the option key still. I would assume I shouldn't have to do that after removing the windows partition in Bootcamp. Any ideas of what else I can do in order just to restart up normally under Mac OSX?

System Preferences> Startup Disk> Mac OS X 10.x.x on Macinstosh HD.

That was the first place I went, but it didn't give me any option to select the Mac OSX system. I am not home now, but will check back when I have access to my laptop to post what my options were there.

Startup Disk, not menu (should be obvious though).

I didn't get a chance to check last night. I will give that a whirl when I get home tonight. I am pretty sure that I went to the startup disk, but will double check on that. Thanks for the input.

Update: Yep, that is actually what I did originally. I selected the 10.5 disk and restart. It restarted under Leopard. When I powered the computer down later and restarted, it started under the black windows startup and it can't find any server to boot. I am going to give Apple a shout on this one.

Try resetting PRAM (apple-option-p-r held on reboot until after second boot chime).
