When I run Windows Update in Vista it gives me optional updates that include what seem to be driver updates for the wireless adapter as well as ethernet controller. Are these okay and/or good to install? Or should I only install driver updates from the Apple Software Update application?

I have a MacBook Pro SR 2.4ghz by the way if that info is helpful.

If they work, great. If they don't you can always roll them back and effectively undo them. Give them a try and see-it can't hurt. Lots of people use things like video drivers that don't come from Apple-and a bad video driver could be a very, very bad thing. I wouldn't be too concerned-Microsoft says they work, but gives you the option to dump 'em if they don't.

I asked the same question months back. All driver updates via Windows Update work fine because they are official and signed. All the hardware drivers you get with Boot Camp are pretty old by the way i(April to July 2007).
