Hi,

anybody have experience with Bonjour for windows?

I have an intranet server for a small office - it's a linux box - I set up apache to announce the website with bonjour (zeroconf)

works great with safari on the mac

I then installed Bonjour for windows on 2 office desktops running XP. It adds a bonjour browser to IE which then sees the local webserver just like safari does. So far so good.

The problem is that every single web page takes a long time to load on the pc's. If I just type in the ip address the pages come at normal speed, but when using the bonjour style address "myserver.local" ...

maybe I should switch to mono
